Fort Knox: Day 1

This summer I'm interning at The Leader, a newspaper in Fort Knox, Ky., that follows ROTC cadets during the Leader Training Course (LTC). The cadets don't arrive until next week, but we got an early start to warm up to the base. Today we shot air assault school.

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Here come the questions. What are you allowed to do and not do? How close could you get? In the chopper? Lens?

I wish you were closer to the ppl but I'll dig the line of guys right under the chopper one. Question to ponder...do chopper blades work like limbs...bad juju to cut those off? Just some thoughts. Good luck and kick some ass.

Are you living in at fort knox?

I don't think cutting off helicopter blades matters as much as cutting off human limbs. The last picture is my favorite. Layers kick some ass in my opinon.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I got pretty close, but I think if I got much closer I would have gotten blown over by the helicopter. haha. I don't necessarily see a problem with cutting of the helicopter blades because they're so huge you would have to shoot really wide to fit the entire blades.

Britney - The internship paid for hotel rooms for everyone in Radcliff, Ky., right outside Ft. Knox.

Hope everyone is doing well and kicking ass at whatever they're doing!
