Catching Up: I Love Mountains Day

The semester is ending and my workload is finally lessening so I finally have time to post some things I shot in the last few months. Here is the first of those posts.

I met Jerry Moody at I Love Mountains Day, an annual rally in Frankfort, Ky., on Valentine's Day to stop mountaintop removal mining. Jerry was standing under the archway to the capitol entrance in beautiful light. Once I saw him light up his pipe I had to take his picture. We talked for a bit before and after and he was a super great guy.
